It has taken Melody many years of study and hours of perfecting various techniques such as mending,color matching and airbrushing. Using conservation, preservation and restoration standards she has achieved success.

She has studied in Virginia and with years of consulting with the world’s finest conservator’s in the business she has perfected her skills.

Melody studied with a conservator from England in the area of ceramic restoration to include figurines, statuary, plates, bowls cups, platters, redware, yelloware, mochaware, stoneware, chalkware, dipped wares, paste, all imports, French, German and Orientals etc.. All manufacturers such as Meissen, Roseville, Lladro, Doulton, Woods, Spode, Wedgwood, Hull, Stangl and many many more!

With a very strong art background she continues to study at East Field Village in Nassau, NY with conservators, curators and archeologists from around the world.
At present she is enrolled in an Art program at a local college to continue to work towards her degree in conservation.

She has been honored to speak at many different venues and has helped to educate the public about the history, care and conservation of their own private collections.
